From martial arts to modern art
Let lorenzo sandoval’s wandering sensei photography be the centerpiece of your inner peace.
I am honored to bring you some of my favorite photographic prints from my travels around the world. I picked up photography like anyone else, on a whim. I fell in love. How could you not? Photography gives you such a deep appreciation and insight into the world around you. It forces you to be still, pay attention, and pick up on the detailed intricacies between motion and silence. Besides martial arts, it is the closest thing i have found to heaven. To cultivate a practice that puts mindfulness and staying in the present moment in the foreground of your value system.
I have created this print shop so that my travels can make their way into your home and inspire you to take trips and adventures of your own. Whether you are already a jet setter or just looking for a unique piece to elevate your home space, these photographs tell a story in each snap chat. My hope is that with each print, you will be whisked away towards somewhere magical. You will have the drive, ambition, and clarity to go after what you really want in life. And you will have the bravery to open up new conversations and spark curiosity where ever you may roam.
Travelling has taught me we choose our family.
We choose the present moment.
And that there is beauty in everything.
While the definition of fine art can be attributed to a number of different things, the wandering sensei photography shop was made for magic. It was made for simple gratitudes, for eye-opening perspectives, and for sparking a sense of adventure.
My style is unique, patient, and is reflective of the deep love for martial arts i have cultivated over the years. As a martial arts master and sensei, i am aware of the wonderous appreciation you must have for how your body moves and how you take in your surroundings. You cannot be in the past, you cannot be in the future. If you choose to be in either of those timelines, you miss what’s happening right in front of you. With photography, it’s exactly the same. You are forced to slow down as much as you are forced to keep up. There is no rush because each moment is perfectly divine and defined by fate.
Who knows what bird may fly by, cloud wistfully glides past or rock tumble from the frame. The luck, timing, and energy that a photo can hold is as beautiful as it is astonishing.
So thank you for your presence.
Thank you for being here.
